Skyreach Aviary

Skyreach Aviary is a gentle management sim where you tend a floating sanctuary full of invented bird species. You feed them, pair them, decorate their habitats, and slowly fill out a very pretty catalogue. It's the kind of game that asks for a few minutes a day rather than a marathon.

The touch controls are forgiving and the whole thing is designed to be played in portrait with one hand. I appreciated that notifications for feeding times can be turned off entirely in the settings — it never nagged me once I told it not to.

Because it's mostly menus and slow animation, it sips battery and stays cool. There's no pressure, no fail state, just a tidy little loop that's genuinely relaxing. A lovely palate cleanser between heavier games.
